Stumbled on this randomly searching for Vegetarian places in the area...So glad we found this place. We came from Bellingham, WA and this reminded of us sooo much!!! I (Jacki) had the African Peanut Stew and Bobby had the Avocado Tofu Stir-fry. They were both Amazing!!! Can't wait to come back!

Jazzmin is the name of the jazz quartet featuring: Angus Mackie (bass), Duffy Whitcomb (guitar), Bob Casale (drums), and Robert Brainard (sax).

Jazzmin will play in Schenectady this Wednesday night at the Moon and River.. Special guest Mary Viola Graham will sing and play trumpet.

The Moon and River is a funky hole-in-the-wall, coffee house in the Historic Stockade District of Schenectady. They serve Mexican, Vegetarian food and a couple of turkey dishes. They have new art on the walls every month and music every night. It is a very relaxed and welcoming place..

Bob (Admin), Please advise Richard that my family visit just last evening was a true delight for the splendid meal specials, Great Mango Salad & Asian Stirfry, etc.
We are planning our next visit...Just a real throw-back for me especially to my days at Cafe Lena !!! Great performers and real nice cafe...Bravo...The caffe(sp)a true delight for me. Staff is nice as well... We need more cafe scenarios like Mother Earth and Moon River ...(I went to college in Albany, NY)... Bill

visited your cafe this morning on our walking tour of the historic district. You mentioned to our friend that you had a cafe down the street and we were welcome to visit. We had coffee, tea and snacks. Wonderful little place.

I plan to take Advanced Web Design in the fall, so who knows what this will have developed into a year from now.

Your webpage is looking almost professional. What goes?

Could you post more up to date information for like when a performer just cancelled that very same day?

It would save us the trouble of traveling to you when there's nothing to see, or for those of us who perform, we could call to be the replacement.

Admin reply: The webpage was originally only intended to be the schedule, but then it grew out from that to other pages.

The webmaster is taking a course in web design / xhtml/css and since he had to do a final project, decided to make a revamp of the Cafe's website his project.

Since Richard does not use internet nor cell phones (texting!) it is hard to get up to the minute show information onto the webpage. A good idea, but not likely to happen. Thanks for the comments
